Custom corrugated and value-added packaging products distributor SupplyOne has acquired Compass Packaging Solutions — a North Billerica, MA-based provider of packaging solutions.

Newtown Square, PA-based SupplyOne said June 1 that Compass Packaging Solutions will continue under the leadership of owner Rick Meissner post-closing. Founded in 2011, Compass provides custom protective packaging, along with warehousing, distribution, fulfillment and kitting services for customers in the life sciences, semiconductor, technology and defense industries.

“The addition of Compass Packaging Solutions strengthens our presence in New England while adding meaningful capabilities in protective packaging, a key strategic priority for SupplyOne,” SupplyOne President and CEO Todd Renehan said in a news release.

Renehan added that SupplyOne has been impressed with Compass’ customer approach while servicing SupplyOne’s growing New England business.

“Joining forces with SupplyOne enables us to continue delivering on our mission while expanding the resources and capabilities we offer our customers,” Meissner said. “We are excited to begin this new chapter with a partner who shares our customer-first values.”

The transaction represents SupplyOne’s 48th acquisition since its 1998 founding and its third announced deal of 2026. In March, SupplyOne acquired East Hartford, CT-based Specialty Packaging, strengthening its New England presence and adding capabilities in packaging distribution, food packaging and equipment. In January, SupplyOne acquired Chicago-based corrugated packaging distributor Wertheimer Box.
