Road Warrior Parts & Service — a Midlothian, TX-based distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer aftermarket parts and provider of repair services — announced July 3 that it has completed three acquisitions to expand its parts distribution and repair network.
The deals add LASCO Heavy Duty in Kentucky, Mid-States Tire & Retread in Missouri and Colton Truck Terminal Garage in California to Road Warrior’s portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Road Warrior said the acquisitions strengthen its heavy-duty parts distribution and repair network, while advancing its strategy of building a national platform that spans parts and service. The company said the additions expand its repair operations, improve its distribution network and add a mobile repair business line.
LASCO Heavy Duty, formally Louisville Auto Spring & Brake, was founded in 1927 and offers custom spring manufacturing and repair, ABS trailer repairs, wheel alignments, axle repairs and heavy-duty brake service. The company expanded from Louisville to Lexington, Kentucky, as it grew its service to transportation and freight customers.
“Selling our business wasn’t just a financial decision — it was about finding the right home for our employees and customers,” David Washbish of LASCO said in the announcement. “Road Warrior proved throughout the process that they cared about both.”
Mid-States Tire & Retread serves the greater Kansas City area with tire sales, in-shop service and 24/7 mobile roadside assistance for heavy-duty trucks and trailers within a 100-mile radius of Kansas City.
Colton Truck Terminal Garage, founded in 1956, is a heavy-duty repair shop serving trucks, RVs and motorhomes in Southern California. The company specializes in brake and suspension work and provides a range of truck repair services.
Road Warrior said it continues to seek heavy-duty parts distribution and repair businesses to expand the breadth, depth and geographic reach of its network.
Road Warrior Parts & Service carries more than 350 nationally recognized brands, including its Road Warrior private label line. It serves customers across end markets that include intermodal, freight and shipping, distribution, leasing services, repair services and OEM manufacturing.
Sope Creek Capital is the lead investor and operational partner for Road Warrior Parts & Service.
