Houston-based distributor Lonestar Electric Supply announced July 8 that it has acquired Industrial Cable Solutions — a West Monroe, LA-based supplier of electrical and data products.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands Lonestar’s reach in Louisiana and adds to its capabilities in wire, cable and data communications products for industrial and commercial customers.
Lonestar has continued to expand its footprint and specialty capabilities in recent years. The company operates distribution hubs in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee, according to its website. Its industrial business serves customers across industrial verticals, oil and gas, OEM and EPC markets.
Lonestar ranked No. 12 on MDM’s 2026 Top Electrical/Data/Security Distributors list with 2025 total fiscal revenue of $1.7 billion.
The deal follows a June 22 announcement from Lonestar’s Industrial Supply business unit that it had launched Lonestar CORE — a new division focused on complex power infrastructure projects and capital investments. CORE stands for CapEx, Optimization, Reliability and Execution, with the unit designed to support mission-critical projects across industrial, energy, technology, manufacturing and infrastructure markets.
Industrial Cable Solutions’ team and customer relationships will complement Lonestar’s existing industrial and project-focused offerings, Lonestar said.
