MCE Adds Salentine Pump in WI for 3rd Acquisition of 2026

The acquisition expands Motion & Control Enterprises’ pump and process solutions footprint in Wisconsin, following two May deals that strengthened its hydraulic, motor and process equipment repair capabilities in Texas and Florida.

Motion & Control Enterprises (MCE) has acquired Menomonee Falls, WI-based Salentine Pump & Equipment, marking the distributor’s third acquisition of 2026.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1980 by Bob Salentine, Salentine distributes highly engineered pumps, parts and repair solutions. The company serves end-user, OEM and engineering, procurement and construction customers across the food and beverage, personal care, agricultural and general industrial markets in Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

Salentine will continue operating under its existing name and will remain under the leadership of owner Michael Salentine.

“We are excited to announce this acquisition, which expands our pump and process solutions footprint in our core Wisconsin market,” MCE Chairman and CEO Charles Hale said in an Aug. 4 news release. “Salentine’s longstanding customer and supplier relationships are a perfect addition to our existing Wisconsin operations.”

The deal follows two acquisitions MCE announced eight days apart in May.

On May 13, MCE acquired TLR Hydraulics — Dallas-based provider of hydraulic cylinder and pump repair, high-pressure hydraulics repair and machining services. Founded in 2018, TLR operates five Dallas-Fort Worth-area locations serving industrial, commercial and municipal customers across Texas and surrounding states.

MCE followed that transaction with its May 21 acquisition of Tripp Electric Motors. The Belle Glade, FL-based company provides repair and maintenance services for electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and related process equipment used in municipal and industrial applications. That deal expanded MCE’s capabilities in Florida’s water and wastewater markets.

Founded in 1951 and based in Zelienople, PA, MCE supplies technical fluid power, automation, flow control, rotating equipment and filtration products, along with service and repair solutions. The Frontenac-backed company serves more than 33,000 OEM and end-user customers from 62 facilities across 18 states.
