Wayne, PA-based AD said that same-store member sales increased by 4% in the U.S., 3% in Canada and 10% in Mexico, in local currencies. Member purchases from AD suppliers grew 5% to $1.45 billion. In all, the group’s owner/member sales, purchases from AD supplier partners and net distributions to owner/members were each AD records.
The group noted that 110 news members joined AD in 2024, through a combination of growth and its merger with the Edge Group — the Electronics, Low Voltage, Data and Security group that joined its Electrical, U.S. Division.
The results do not include the impact of AD’s 2024 merger with IMARK Electrical, which formed AD’s newly-formed Independent Electrical Supply Division in the United States. AD said that, to date, it has welcomed over 530 new members from IMARK Electrical, bringing AD’s total member count to more than 1,400 to begin 2025.
AD expects its 2025 member sales to exceed $100 billion.
