Wayne, PA-based AD said 590 new members joined in the first half of the year, primarily through the IMARK Electrical merger (completed September 2024), along with 36 from other groups. Existing members acquired 39 companies, including 20 within AD and 19 from outside the group.
“One of the most remarkable characteristics of independents is how well they navigate turbulent times. I think it’s especially valuable, in times like these, for suppliers to have a strong focus on independents,” AD CEO Bill Weisberg said in an Aug. 1 news release.
