The National Association for Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) hosted over 100 executives from some of the largest and leading distribution companies at its biannual Executive Roundtable event, a members-only, small-group strategy session focused on current industry trends and challenges.
The two-day spring session — held May 14-15 in Dallas, TX — featured a live scenario-based simulation; cohort discussions covering key industry trends across the commercial, human resources, finance, technology, operations and legal sectors; and educational sessions on growth strategies, supply chain resilience, cybersecurity, people-centric distribution, building financial fortitude, technology and more.
Distribution executives in attendance included those representing ABC Supply, Dot Foods, Border States, Reece, Wesco, ADI Global Industrial, Ewing Outdoor Supply, Parksite, Winsupply, Uline and more.
On the final day of the event, MDM CEO Tom Gale joined Oracle Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management Product Strategy Jon Chorley for a plenary session to discuss best practices for the use of artificial intelligence, analytics and automation in distribution to drive data-driven decision-making.
