“VAD has built a strong base from which to build upon and we believe a partnership together can help accelerate their growth,” Rotunda Managing Partner Dan Lipson said in a Jan. 14 news release. “We are aligned on how to capture the multiple growth avenues that lie ahead for the company, including opening additional branch locations to better serve our customers with high touch local service and product expansion through acquisitions of distributors in adjacent product categories already used by our customer base like filtration, gaskets, AC assemblies, wire harness, kitted fasteners and motion control systems.”
Rotunda is a private equity firm dedicated to transforming family-owned businesses into dynamic, data-driven platforms capable of managing substantial growth. Founded in 2009, Rotunda has collaborated with management teams to build companies in three key sectors: value-added distribution, asset-light logistics and industrial, business & residential services.
