Distribution has long recognized the critical nature of supply chain management, but questions remain about how distributors structure their leadership to handle these responsibilities. To better understand the current landscape, MDM has launched a survey to examine supply chain leadership roles across the distribution sector.
The results of the brief, anonymous survey will help inform MDM’s editors on current trends and result in an article analyzing supply chain oversight within distribution.
Distributors, especially those with insights into company leadership structure or supply chain managers themselves, are encouraged to participate in this research. The eight-question survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and can be accessed here: Supply Chain Leadership in Distribution Survey.
The survey asks participants about:
- Current positions dedicated to supply chain management
- Executive team involvement in supply chain risk assessment
- Changes in supply chain oversight priorities

Responses will be collected until March 19.
