Hardware products distributor Hillman Solutions reported its 2025 third quarter financial results on Nov. 4, which showed strong sales, profit and margin gains year-over-year while the company maintained its full-year guidance.
Cincinnati-based Hillman’s 3Q sales grew 8.0% year-over-year to a company record $425 million. Net profit more than tripled to $23 million, adjusted gross margin of 51.7% jumped 350 basis points, and adjusted EBITDA jumped from $65 million (16.5% margin) to a record $88 million (20.7% margin).
By Hillman business unit in 3Q:
- Hardware and Protective Solutions sales increased 10.0% year-over-year, driven by M&A, new business and price. Adjusted EBITDA jumped 57.3% as Q324 included a True Value adjustment; and gross margin of 20.0% jumped 600 bps.
- Robotics and Digital Solutions sales increased 3.3% year-over-year; adjusted EBITDA dipped 0.2%; and gross margin of 31.4% slid 110 bps.
- Canada sales dipped 0.2% year-over-year; adjusted EBITDA fell 15.8%; and gross margin of 10.2% fell 190 bps.
“During the quarter, we generated the highest Net Sales and Adjusted EBITDA in the 61-year history of Hillman,” Hillman President and CEO Jon Michael Adinolfi said in the company’s 3Q earnings statement. “I am especially proud of this team because we continue to execute and take great care of our customers despite market volume headwinds and tariff volatility. This business continues to demonstrate resilience given the nature of Hillman products used in everyday repair and maintenance projects around the home.”
Looking ahead, Hillman maintained its full-year financial guidance that it issued in early August, calling for 2025 sales of $1.535 billion to $1.575 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $270 million to $275 million.

- In early September, real estate developer HIllwood Investment Properties said Hillman has leased a new multipurpose facility in a suburb north of Cincinnati that will enable the company to consolidate operations from multiple sites in the area and alots space for future expansion.
