Pure Lifting, a holding company, has acquired Reid Lifting, Chepstow, Wales, a manufacturer of lightweight gantry and davit cranes. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The sale of Reid Lifting will allow Nick Battersby, former owner of Reid and outgoing managing director, to transition into retirement. Elisabeta Battersby will remain with the company as a director for the foreseeable future.
