Charlotte, NC-based Aerospace and defense distribution group Aeromed has added a pair of companies to its portfolio.
Aeromed acquired API from Resilience Capital Partners.
Established in 1996, API distributes aircraft parts and accessories to manufacturers, maintenance providers and operators of military, commercial, corporate and general aviation aircraft.
“Diversifying our portfolio with the addition of Aerospace Products International is a significant milestone for Aeromed Group,” Aeromed CEO Bob Spence said in a news release. “API’s reputation for excellence and their comprehensive range of offerings perfectly aligns with our mission to provide innovative solutions and unparalleled service to our clients.”
Boyer brings 30 years of experience in distribution, manufacturing and aerospace to Aeromed. Prior to joining the company, he co-founded and served as Managing Partner of HB Aerospace. He previously held leadership positions at Honeywell Aerospace and Rogers Corporation.
In operation since 2009, HB Aerospace is located at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and next to air cargo hub SkyBridge Arizona.
