Midwest-based electrical and industrial supplies distributor DSG has agreed to purchase Quality Pumps in Madison, WI. The transaction is expected to close in early December.
Quality Pumps is a local and regional wholesale distributor of pumps, pipes and accessories to well drillers, excavators and contractors across southern Wisconsin. Quality Pumps will continue its operations while transitioning its brand to DSG. All associates will be retained to become fellow employee owners of DSG.
“DSG’s customer-driven growth is a great fit for our newest employee-owners,” said DSG President & CEO Paul Kennedy in a Nov. 3 news release. “The Quality Pumps team has always taken great pride in providing exceptional service to their customers, which coupled with the strength of DSG, will provide an outstanding platform for their customers’ and communities’ continued success.”
In 2025, DSG opened a new facility in Sheboygan, WI which doubled the company’s existing capacity to meet local demand for electrical, plumbing and HVAC supplies. Additionally, DSG recently opened a new location supplying HVAC in Madison, and a distribution center in Fargo, ND in May.
This is DSG’s first acquisition since it purchased Peoria Pump in November 2024, and it’s second straight in the pumps category.
The company is No. 32 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for electrical supplies.
