Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Beaumont, TX-based CFI is a distributor of industrial fluid power, lubrication system and motion control solutions, serving industries such as oil and gas, refining, chemical processing and wood and paper. Established in 1984, the company operates facilities in Beaumont, TX, Broussard, LA and Broken Arrow, OK.

“The acquisition of CFI is a pivotal moment for Relevant Industrial,” Relevant Industrial CEO John Carte said in a Feb. 11 news release. “CFI’s deep expertise in fluid power and motion control complements our existing capabilities, allowing us to offer even more comprehensive, tailored solutions to our customers.”
Relevant Industrial said the acquisition will increase the company’s abilities to “address complex challenges” in fluid dynamics, motion control and system optimization.
