Schaedler Yesco’s acquisition of Youngstown, Ohio-based YESCO Electrical Supply was first announced in December. The purchase includes all assets of YESCO, including its five locations across Ohio and western Pennsylvania, according to a news release.
With this purchase, Schaedler Yesco now operates 24 locations in Pennsylvania, two in Ohio and one in New York, the release said.
“Geographic expansion has always been part of our growth strategy,” Schaedler Yesco President Farrah Mittel said in the release. “The key was finding the right situation with the right locations.”
An integration team including members of both Schaedler Yesco and YESCO has been working on the transition since the acquisition was announced, according to the release.
“Although the purchase is complete, there is still a lot to do,” Mittel said. “Our integration team has been meeting regularly to ensure a smooth transition. We’re taking a strategic approach to system and process integration to ensure limited customer disruption. Everyone, on both sides, is excited about our next chapter together.”
“We are happy to welcome our new team members,” Schaedler Yesco CEO Greg Schaedler said in the release. “Joining forces allows us to provide enhanced service and more inventory to the marketplace.”
