In its sixth deal of the year, Dallas-based Singer Industrial joined forces with Viking Hose and Fittings, which provides industrial and hydraulic hoses and fittings to agriculture and industrial markets in North Carolina.
Headquartered in Randleman, North Carolina, Viking Hose and Fittings will now operate within the Catawba Rubber Division of Singer Industrial. The addition will increase Singer Industrial’s North America footprint to more than 90 locations with over 1,300 employees.
“As a bolt-on to Catawba Rubber, Viking Hose and Fittings provides deeper penetration into a growing region of North Carolina and into new markets,” Singer Industrial’s Industrial Rubber Division President Sam Petillo said in an Oct. 31 news release.
Most recently, Singer Industrial — formerly SBP Holdings — added distributors in California, Minnesota and Georgia.
