Rexel Gets 3-Year USPS Contract for EV Charging Stations

The contract includes a potential maximum of 41,500 stations, which can be ordered during the contracts period of performance.

On March 17, Rexel Energy Solutions announced that it has been awarded a three-year contract from the U.S. Postal Service to supply electric vehicle charging stations at Postal Service facilities.

The three-year agreement includes two additional options of two-years each, and a potential maximum of 41,500 stations that can be ordered during the contracts period of performance, said RES, a business unit of Rexel USA. (Rexel USA ranked No. 4 on MDM’s 2022 Top Electrical Distributors.)

RES said it is prepared to apply the company’s technical expertise, industry foresight and distribution experience while deploying the program.

In December 2022, the Postal Service announced plans to deploy more than 66,000 electric vehicles by 2028.
