Rexel announced May 12 that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Revere Electrical Supply, a Mokena, IL-based distributor focused on industrial automation and electrical supplies.
Revere is an authorized reseller of Rockwell Automation solutions and has served customers in Illinois and Wisconsin for more than 100 years. Rexel said the company operates 10 branches and generated approximately $330 million in 2025 turnover.
Financial terms were not disclosed.

Rexel said the acquisition will expand its footprint in the Midwest and strengthen its position in industrial automation, which the company described as a vertical supported by several “mega trends.”
The company said the deal is expected to be immediately accretive and value-creating in year three. It is Rexel’s second acquisition since the start of 2026.

Revere Electric Supply is a fourth-generation, family-owned distributor founded in 1919. The company serves industrial automation and electrical construction customers across Northern and Central Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin, with offerings that include factory automation, process automation, motion control, machine safety, lighting design, switchgear and inventory management solutions.
Paris-based Rexel distributes electrical products, services and solutions for residential, non-residential and industrial markets. The company operates 1,876 branches in 17 countries with 26,306 employees. Rexel reported 2025 sales of nearly $23 billion.
Rexel reported its 1Q26 financial results on April 28, which showed that U.S. sales improved 5.1% year-over-year.
