Mfg, Distribution SaaS Provider Advantive Makes 2 Deals

Advantive's latest acquisitions, ParityFactory and VeraCore, focus on the foodservice and logistics industries, respectively.

Tampa, Florida-based manufacturing and distribution software provider Advantive has made two acquisitions, ParityFactory and VeraCore, the company announced May 23. Financial details were not disclosed for either transaction.

Based in Seattle, ParityFactory is a food and beverage manufacturing software solution that prioritizes food safety. ParityFactory is the only warehouse management system (WMS) and manufacturing execution system (MES) purpose-built for food and beverage manufacturers, according to a news release, and helps those manufacturers automate their tracing and inventory.

“We pride ourselves on helping food and beverage manufacturers create safer products, more efficiently,” ParityFactory CEO Sean Clemmons said in the release. “In an industry with tight manufacturing standards, Advantive’s mission-critical software will allow us to further help food and beverage manufacturers to adapt to evolving compliance requirements and regulations while driving greater value and profitability.”

Farmington, Connecticut-based VeraCore is a “software-as-a-service” (SaaS) and warehouse management provider for fulfillment companies and third-party logistics providers. VeraCore’s software solutions allows those companies to manage all aspects of their clients’ fulfillment programs, according to the release.

“Our roots have always been grounded in fulfillment, and joining Advantive makes those roots even stronger,” VeraCore CEO Garrett Lunden said in the release. “We believe in pushing the boundaries of better fulfillment to make the lives of 3PLs easier. Joining Advantive gives our customers access to even more tools, technology, and solutions that do just that.”

“Both VeraCore and ParityFactory align well with our continued focus on specialty manufacturers and distributors,” Advantive CEO Benoit de la Tour said in the release. “Our goal is to transform the manufacturing and distribution lifecycle – optimizing resources and eliminating inefficiencies. These acquisitions are the next step in reaching that goal.”
