Border States Makes Construction Leadership Succession

Border States appoints a new Senior VP of Construction Core Market, following the retirement of Matt Eddleman after over 30 years in the electrical distribution industry.

Electrical supplies distributor Border States appointed Jody Brannock as Senior VP of Construction Core Market, effective April 1.

Brannock succeeds Executive VP of Construction Core Market Matt Eddleman, who retired from the company on March 31.

Eddleman spent his entire career in the electrical industry, including over 30 years in electrical distribution. He joined Border States in 2005 as southwest region manager, later serving as VP of the southwest region and executive VP – West before assuming his role of executive VP in April 2024.

“Matt is open and honest, always keenly focused on our people and customers and relentlessly driven to find the right solutions,” Border States Executive VP of Sales and Marketing Don Masters said in a March 31 news release. “Matt exemplifies what employee-ownership means, demonstrated through his commitment to serving his fellow employee-owners and customers.”

Meanwhile, Brannock previously served as area director and later regional sales director at Border States. He also collaborated with other agencies and distributors in the electrical distribution industry, where he demonstrated a commitment to investing in and developing his teams, driving significant sales growth and productivity improvements.
