Full-line electrical supplies distributor Hein Electric Supply acquired Laser Electric Supply & Lighting Gallery.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Walworth, WI-based Laser Electric Supply is a supplier of electrical product and lighting, serving electrical contractors, industrial clients and hospitality customers across southern Wisconsin. Founded in 1990 by Jeff Liberman, the company has grown to 13 employees, added a lighting showroom and expanded its reach from Kenosha to Janesville. Hein Electric Supply will continue operations from the existing 15,000-square-foot facility.

Through this acquisition, Oconomowoc, WI-based Hein Electric expands to 10 locations across Wisconsin, employing 80 associates.

“With this acquisition, Hein Electric Supply expands our services offering footprint in southern Wisconsin that allows for growth in additional targeted markets,” Hein Electric Supply President Chris Stoming said in a May 27 news release. “Our Projects, Operations, E-Commerce/Marketing, and Business Development teams have immediate plans in place to leverage the Laser Electric Supply name.”
