Park Wiseway Supply Group (PWSG) has appointed John Simmons as Chief Executive Officer, effective Sept. 21.

Simmons will lead the Florence, KY-based electrical, plumbing and lighting supplies distributor, which operates 17 branch locations and six luxury showrooms across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Alabama. PWSG operates through five businesses: Wiseway Supply, Park Supply, Stearns Supply, Plumbers Wholesale Supply and Northport Electrical Supply.

Simmons most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Construction Resources, a multi-state specialty building products company. Earlier in his career, he served as President of Express Pipe & Supply and held leadership roles with Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions and Centerville Winsupply.

PWSG said Simmons will focus on continued growth, investment in employees and strengthening relationships with customers and suppliers as the company expands its regional footprint.

The company is backed by Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital.

PWSG’s current platform traces back to the March 2024 merger of Wiseway Supply and Park Supply, both CID portfolio companies. At the time, CID described the combination as creating a diversified super-regional plumbing and electrical distributor. Mark Christie was named CEO of the combined business when the merger closed.

PWSG’s five brands include Park Supply Company, Wiseway Supply, Plumbers Wholesale Supply, Stearns Supply and Northport Electrical Supply.

Wiseway — founded in 1972 and headquartered in Florence — distributed electrical, plumbing and lighting supplies across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Park Supply — founded in 1963 and headquartered in Huntsville, AL — operated as a wholesale plumbing supplies distributor across Alabama.
