ABC Supply to Make CEO Transition with Rozolis Retirement

Keith Rozolis will retire at year-end after leading ABC Supply since 2014. Get the details on who will take the leadership reins at the market-leading building materials distributor.
ABC Supply

Building materials distributor ABC Supply announced Sept. 9 that Chief Executive Officer Keith Rozolis will retire at the end of 2026, with President and Chief Operating Officer Mike Jost appointed to succeed him.

The transition will take effect Jan. 1, 2027. Rozolis will remain involved with the Beloit, WI-based company as an executive advisor and member of its board of directors.

Rozolis

Rozolis joined ABC Supply in 1999 and helped establish the company’s first strategic marketing department. He became CEO in 2014.

During his 12 years leading the company, ABC more than doubled its location count, expanded across North America, completed major acquisitions and entered new business verticals. The company also invested in technology, operations and customer service while strengthening its position as North America’s largest wholesale distributor of roofing, select exterior and interior building products and outdoor solutions.

“Leading ABC Supply has been the greatest privilege of my career,” Rozolis said. “I am extremely proud and humbled by all we have accomplished together. The company is in great hands with Mike, and I couldn’t be more confident about what’s ahead for ABC Supply.”

Rozolis has also a board member of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors since 2022. ABC Supply has maintained a longstanding NAW membership and received the association’s 2025 Distributors Deliver Award — NAW’s highest annual company honor. The award recognizes leadership, community involvement and innovation in distribution.

“Keith Rozolis is a legend in the distribution industry and ranks among the best CEOs in America today,” said Eric Hoplin, CEO of NAW. “What most people may not realize is, he has moved mountains on behalf of the industry through his work and leadership as a member of the NAW Board.”

Jost

Jost has served as ABC Supply’s President and COO since 2024 and has spent decades with the company, helping lead its operational, customer service and growth initiatives.

“Our strategy remains the same, our commitment to customers is unwavering and our culture is our greatest asset,” Jost said. “We have strong momentum, an exceptional team and a solid foundation for continued growth.”

The succession follows a year of portfolio development for ABC. In February, the distributor introduced a unified naming structure encompassing ABC Supply Co., ABC Supply Interiors — formerly L&W Supply — and ABC Supply Outdoor Solutions — formerly Town & Country Industries.

ABC has also completed three tuck-in acquisitions during 2026. ABC Supply Interiors acquired Wallboard Inc. in Wisconsin in June, followed later that month by ABC Supply’s acquisition of Koch Building Products in Ohio. In August, ABC acquired the assets of Martini Brick Sales in Texas.

ABC ranked No. 1 on MDM’s 2026 Top Distributors List for Building Materials/Construction Supplies, based on $20.2 billion in 2025 revenue. It operates more than 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

MDM Analysis

ABC is handing leadership to a veteran operator already positioned beside Rozolis, signaling continuity rather than a strategic reset. That matters at the market’s largest building materials distributor, where a decentralized culture and local customer relationships have supported expansion at enormous scale. Jost inherits considerable momentum from acquisitions, brand alignment and continued category expansion, with Rozolis remaining nearby to help preserve institutional knowledge during the transition.
