HVAC distributors Republic Companies and T.F. Ehrhart announced on Feb. 14 that the companies have merged to enhance service offerings and strengthen its market position.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Davenport, IA-based Republic Companies is a distributor of HVAC and electrical solutions. The company’s portfolio features HVAC brands such as York, Luxaire, Mitsubishi and Gree, as well as electrical products from Schneider Electric and ABB. The company supplies a range of its electrical and mechanical products to industrial, institutional, governmental and contracting sectors across Central and Eastern Iowa, Western Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

Based in Illinois, T.F. Ehrhart distributes HVAC products from its four locations, Peoria, IL, Springfield, MO, Osage Beach MO and Quincy, IL.  Established in 1952, the company carries brands such as Luxaire, Bosch and Samsung.
