Electrical supplies distributor Sonepar appointed Jérôme Baniol as Chief Financial Officer to succeed Andros Neocleous.
Baniol joined Sonepar in 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Finance in the Asia-Pacific, and held several roles since, most recently as Group Deputy CEO.
Previously, he has held several senior financial executive roles, including Finance Director at Guilbert Office Depot in the UK, Group Controlling Director and CFO for France and Southern Europe at Rexel, and Group CFO at Vivarte, a large European apparel and footwear retail group.
“After extensive operational experience in APAC and North America, Jérôme has a deep understanding of Sonepar strategy, processes and culture,” President and CEO Philippe Delpech said. “His extensive international experience and extensive knowledge of the electrical distribution market will allow Jerome to support and accelerate Sonepar’s strategy and financial performance.”
Effective Sept 1., Baniol assumed the CFO role and became a member of the Executive Committee.
