Wesco —No. 1 on MDM’s list of Top Electrical/Data/Security Distributors — has invested $10 million in San Francisco-based Kojo, an AI-powered construction procurement and inventory management platform.

In a blog post, Sean Grasby, Wesco Senior Vice President and General Manager for U.S. Construction, explained the goal of the investment.
“By leveraging the combined strengths of Kojo’s AI-powered platform and Wesco’s extensive distribution network, this partnership is poised to transform the construction industry, automating workflows and solving critical pain points for customers, leading to unprecedented efficiency and accuracy in project delivery.”
According to Kojo, it’s the largest investment Wesco has ever made in a technology company. Including this investment, Kojo has raised more $94 million since its founding in 2018.
