Announcing its second cross-country acquisition in three weeks, Oregon-based anchor bolts and construction fasteners manufacturer Portland Bolt & Manufacturing acquired New York-based Bennett Bolt Works.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Jordan, NY-based Bennett Bolt Works is a certified WBE specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of bolts and fasteners. Established in 1978, the company serves a range of industries, including highway guardrail systems, bridge construction, overhead sign structures, building construction, truss battens and more.

“Bennett Bolt Works has built a strong reputation in the highway and bridge infrastructure sector,” Portland Bolt CEO Blake Ray said in a May 14 news release. “By bringing their specialized expertise into the Portland Bolt family, we are enhancing our ability to serve critical infrastructure projects across the country with greater efficiency and customer service.”
Portland Bolt said it will retain the current Bennett Bolt Works team and maintain operations at the New York facility. Moving forward, the company will operate under the name Portland Bolt Northeast.
