Foodservice equipment and supplies distributor Wasserstrom, headquartered in Columbus, OH, recently announced the acquisition of Breckenridge Kitchen Equipment & Design, located in Huron, OH.
On the company’s blog, the company stated the move will strengthen its equipment project management capabilities and offering of advanced kitchen design while broadening its market reach to a more expansive customer base.

Founded in 1935, Breckenridge specializes in the planning, design and furnishing of foodservice facilities throughout the United States, with an emphasis on hospitality, healthcare, education and restaurant markets. Breckenridge provides expertise in design, project management, administration and installation. The company works with architects, engineers, owners and developers to design and equip all segments of the foodservice marketplace.

Breckenridge will continue to operate from its current headquarters.
Wasserstrom, founded in 1902, is a family-owned distributor of foodservice equipment and supplies with more than 1.100 employees and five distribution centers in the U.S. The company has an inventory of more than 30,000 SKUs and over 1 million square feet of warehouse space.
