As part of its growth strategy to strengthen its reach and service offering to industrial manufacturers in the Northeast, New Jersey-based industrial and MRO distributor A&M Industrial acquired the assets of Central Tool Supply.

Effective Oct. 1, A&M acquired the customer account data and order history of Hazleton, PA-based mill and industrial supplies distributor Central Tool Supply. Central Tool has served Pennsylvania’s metalworking industry since 1985.

The acquisition will give Central Tool Supply customers access to over a million industrial and safety products online, and fast and reliable delivery from A&M’S Cranbury, NJ, distribution center.

To ensure uninterrupted service to Central Tool Supply customers, A&M has integrated account information and inventory into its advanced ERP system. Likewise, as part of this transition, Central Tool Supply Owner Mike Beltrami will direct all new orders to A&M Industrial and serve as a consultant.

Under Beltrami, Central Tool Supply has gained “a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise and customer-first service,” A&M Industrial officials said in an Oct. 13 news release.
