Montreal-based janitorial supplies and equipment marketing organization Dissan Group announced the acquisition of Maunco Cleaning Supplies Warehouse (Maunco) on Jan. 9. The news comes about a month after Dissan announced its acquisition of Pronet near Montreal.
Maunco — headquartered in Belleville, Ontario about halfway between Toronto — is recognized for its regional presence and specialized expertise in the repair and maintenance of commercial cleaning equipment, and Dissan noted its reputation for reliable service and long-standing customer relationships.
Dissan said the addition of Maunco represents an important step in its Ontario expansion strategy.
“The acquisition of Maunco is an intentional move that supports our long-term growth objectives in Ontario and enhances our ability to serve key markets across the province,” said Alex Trudel, Dissan President and CEO.
“Maunco had reached a point where it was time to take the next step,” added Colin Ollerhead, Maunco Co-Owner. “Choosing to move forward with Dissan, a Canadian-owned company, simply made more sense for us. Their structure, values and long-term vision align closely with what we want for our business, our employees and our customers.”
After completing three major acquisitions in 2024, Dissan Group continued its growth in 2025 with two acquisitions in the second half of the year, followed by the acquisition of Maunco in early 2026.
