On March 1, JanSan and foodservice packaging distributor Imperial Dade separately announced the acquisitions of three companies in Canada: Solutions Sherby, Servicorp Industrial Supplies and Action Paper & Packaging. Financial details for the trio of transactions were not disclosed.

The flurry of moves brings Imperial Dade’s total number of acquisitions to 62 since Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis took over leadership of the company in 2007. Jersey City, New Jersey-based Imperial Dade, listed among MDM’s Top JanSan Distributors in 2022, has now made four acquisitions in 2023 after adding Focus Packaging & Supply in February. The company announced 14 acquisitions during 2022.

Founded in 1989, Solutions Sherby is a Quebec-based distributor of janitorial sanitation, industrial packaging, and healthy and safety products. With locations in Granby, Magog and Trois-Rivières, Solutions Sherby primarily serves the greater Montreal and Quebec City areas.

Also based in Quebec, Servicorp Industrial Supplies was founded in 1986. The distributor of cleaning, paper and packaging supplies serves the Montreal area from its headquarters in Saint-Laurent.

Action Paper & Packaging has been a distributor of paper and packaging, material handling equipment, safety equipment and warehouse equipment for over 30 years. Based in Scarborough, Ontario, Action Paper & Packaging serves the Toronto area.
