Another day, another acquisition for Envoy Solutions.
The Glenview, Illinois-based JanSan and packaging supplies distributor announced Feb. 6 its acquisition of Detroit Chemical & Paper Supply Company (DCP), a distributor of cleaning and sanitary products based in Warren, Michigan. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
MDM’s M&A Virtual Summit, to be held Feb. 22-23, has something to offer for any distributor on the dealmaking spectrum. We’ll cover the current state of M&A; how to maximize valuation; integration do’s and don’ts; ESOPs; the culture side of the M&A process; and more. Get details and register here.
It’s already the third acquisition of 2023 for Envoy, which acquired Mississippi-based Delta Packing & Supply on Jan. 9 and Royal Paper Corp., a paper distributor in Southern California, on Jan. 23. Envoy’s fast start in 2023 builds on the 16 acquisitions the company made in 2022.
Founded in 1978, DCP provides cleaning and supply products — such as hand care, liners, equipment and paper — to industries including healthcare, sports, entertainment and general industrial.
“I feel inspired to take our business to the next level in Michigan and across the country,” DCP vice president Terry Radzinski said in a news release. “I strongly believe Envoy Solutions has the best business model within our industry for efficiently and effectively finding and delivering solutions to our valued clients.”
“Detroit Chemical & Paper Supply Company is a great fit for our rapidly growing national platform, particularly as we build upon our Michigan presence,” Envoy Solutions CEO Mark Fisher added. “I’m excited to join forces with Terry Radzinski and his great team as we work together to solve the industry’s toughest challenges. From a geographic standpoint, we are well-positioned to create greater efficiencies for our clients while offering them an expanded product portfolio of facility care solutions.”
Envoy Solutions was listed among MDM’s Top JanSan Distributors in 2022.
