EIS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co., continued to post strong sales gains in 2011. Like many other electrical distributor, EIS began 2012 with the announcement of an acquisition. The company acquired Light Fabrications in Rochester, NY. Expanding the company's fabrication technology and engineering skills are a key part of its growth strategy, according to President and CEO Bob Thomas. The company is also looking for expansion opportunities in the Caribbean.
