Building materials company USG Corp. (NYSE:USG), Chicago, IL, announced two executive organizational changes effective October 1. Christopher R. Griffin, previously executive vice president of operations, will be executive vice president and COO of the corporation. Jennifer F. Scanlon, previously vice president of USG and president of international business, will be senior vice president of USG and president of international business.

James S. Metcalf, president and CEO, said Griffin has been instrumental in helping USG take advantage of the anticipated North American housing and construction markets recoveries, and Scanlon has helped to identify international growth opportunities.

Griffin joined the company in 1997, and has more than 28 years of experience in the building materials industry. Scanlon joined USG in 2003.

USG distribution subsidiary L&W Supply ranked No. 8 on MDM’s 2013 list of top building materials distributors.
