European building materials supplier Saint-Gobain has completed the acquisition of LS Kunststofftechnologie GmbH, a German manufacturer of high-performance polymer components for the automotive, medical and industrial markets.
Created in 1985, LS Kunststofftechnologie is headquartered in Wertheim, near Frankfurt. It has two production sites, one in Wertheim and the other in Neuhaus, near Erfurt, and more than 220 employees.
LS co-develops tailor-made solutions in response to its customers’ specific requirements, with experience in the design, tooling, testing and the processing of high temperature polymers. The addition of LS to Saint-Gobain performance plastics will help boost international sales.
