Forklift and material handling product distributor Wolter acquired Delta Materials Handling to served key markets in the Mid-South.
Delta — owned and managed by the Costa family since 1970 — has been operating for over 65 years to serve the forklift industry in Memphis and Jackson, TN; Tupelo, MS; and Jonesboro, AK. The company offers new and used forklifts, rentals, parts, service, and warehouse solutions, with equipment lines including Clark, Bobcat, Linde, Bendi, Drexel and Princeton. The acquisition will create opportunities to bring expanded solutions to market, including automation, storage systems, dock equipment and fleet management tools, Wolter officials said.
“Delta is a natural fit as we continue to grow,” said Wolter CEO Jerry Weidmann in July 7 news release. “Their team, reputation and commitment to customers align closely with Wolter. Together, we strengthen our position as one of the nation’s leading material handling providers, offering more solutions, faster support and greater opportunities for career growth.”
