Commercial lighting and shading solutions distributor Valley Lighting was acquired by Atlanta-based private equity firm Caymus Equity Partners.

Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Based in Maryland, Valley Lighting provides lighting and shading solutions for commercial construction and renovation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic. The company collaborates with electrical contractors, general contractors and facility owners to design and deliver systems, offering services that include design consultation, product sourcing, project management and controls integration. Valley Lighting serves a range of end markets, including data centers, government, healthcare and education.

Caymus Equity’s investment represents its 16th platform investment and the fourth from Caymus Equity Partners Fund II, L.P.
