Coatsville, PA-based vertical access equipment, material handling and safety products manufacturer Ballymore Safety Products — a portfolio company of One Equity Partners — acquired Valley Craft Industries.

Terms were not disclosed, but the transaction marks Ballymore’s fourth acquisition since 2021.

Based in Lake City, MN, Valley Craft is a manufacturer of materials handling, drum handling and storage solutions equipment. Established in 1953, the company manufactures a variety of material handling equipment, such as box dumpers, forklift attachments, stackers, drum lifts & transporters, cabinets, workstations and facility storage equipment. Valley Craft’s team of more than 100 will all join the Ballymore company.

Ballymore said it plans to invest in Valley Craft, which will become Ballymore’s Midwest headquarters. The company will introduce rolling ladder manufacturing to the region for the first time and make additional investments to maximize the use of Valley Craft’s 175,000-square-foot facility.

Combining the Valley Craft and Ballymore manufacturing operations results in approximately half a million square feet of domestic manufacturing capability.”
