Maitland, FL-based manufacturers representative agency SESCO Lighting acquired Austin, TX-based ERT Lighting. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The transition will take effect on July 1, bringing together SESCO Lighting’s existing resources and workforce of over 480 employees with ERT Lighting’s team of 36 and its four office locations.

Founded in 1986, ERT Lighting offers lighting and lighting control solutions for all types of commercial construction projects. The company has expanded under the leadership of Jordan Doyle, serving the Central Texas market with a focus on professional service, value and representing lighting and control brands.
Founded in 1967, SESCO Lighting is an employee-owned manufacturers’ representative agency specializing in the promotion and sale of lighting products. The company serves a broad range of clients, including electrical contractors and distributors, architects, consulting engineers, designers, government agencies, developers, building owners and manufacturers.

Our focus going forward is to build on what’s already in place and further expand the value and services this team brings to the Central and South Texas markets as well as the great manufacturers that ERT Lighting represents.”
