Bearings and power transmission products maker Timken appointed Timothy Graham as President of Industrial Motion, effective immediately.
Graham, formerly VP of operations for Engineered Bearings, succeeds Christopher A. Coughlin, who will stay on through his planned retirement to support the transition.

Since joining Timken in 2003, Graham has led global operations, most recently overseeing a worldwide network of bearing manufacturing and distribution as VP of operations for Engineered Bearings. He also directed companywide supply chain, sourcing, quality, EH&S and sustainability efforts, and served as acting president of American Roller Bearing and Aurora Bearing post-acquisition. Earlier in his career, he led European operations from Colmar, France and held supply chain roles at International Paper and Thomas & Betts.
“Tim’s broad global experience, operational expertise and passion for strengthening our company will enable us to further scale and accelerate profitable growth for our Industrial Motion business,” Timken President and CEO Richard Kyle said in a June 2 news release. “We thank Chris for his dedicated leadership and are pleased he will stay on to support the transition.”

In other recent company news, Timken announced that Tarak Mehta was appointed President and CEO, succeeding Richard Kyle who retired from the company but continues to serve on Timken’s Board.
