Founded in 1977, B&J Welding Supply distributes industrial gases and propane to the industrial, energy, agricultural and medical end markets in West Texas. The Lubbock, TX-based company received an investment from private equity firm Cordatus Capital in 2024.
In a July 6 social media post, B&J officials said that GM’s San Angelo facility will be rebranded as B&J’s seventh location in the state. The branch will retain GM’s existing staff. B&J added that the location will offer a broader product selection, along with changes to inventory, delivery and service operations.
