Fluid solutions distributor TIPCO has acquired Portland, OR-based Gasket Specialties, a manufacturer and distributor of gaskets and related industrial products. Terms were not disclosed.

Established in 1925, Gasket Specialties provides gaskets, seals, and other related industrial products. According to a Nov. 2 news release, the addition of Gasket Specialties to the TIPCO family is expected to expand the company’s product range and improve service on the West Coast. In total, the partnership will expand TIPCO’s footprint to 46 locations across 17 states.

Gasket Specialties will complement TIPCO’s established sealing solutions footprint on the East Coast that includes TIPCO Technologies gasket division located in Glen Burnie, MD, which focuses on sealing solutions; Potter Associates in Rochester, NY, which offers custom-sealing solutions; and Atlanta Rubber in Marietta, GA, which offers precision-cut custom gaskets tailed to specific applications. Potter Associates joined TIPCO Technologies in March 2025 while Atlanta Robber joined the company in December 2023. The company’s most recent acquisition was Houston-TX based hose and hose assembly distributor DW Industries.

“The addition of Gasket Specialties to the TIPCO family enhances our capabilities, allowing us to combine their strengths and innovative solutions with our established expertise,” TIPCO said in a statement. “Together, we are poised to redefine the standards in the gasket industry and provide our customers with an unmatched level of quality and support.”
