Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Sumner, WA, Aaron Packaging has been a long-standing supplier to Novvia subsidiary Rhino Container, according to a Nov. 19 news release. Rhino Container will now assume the company’s distribution assets. Novvia Group said the acquisition will further enhance its expanding presence in the Western U.S.
Jake Thulin, Co-Owner of Aaron Packaging, will continue to run the company’s manufacturing business alongside Co-Owners Bryan and Steve Thulin. “We have valued our relationship with Novvia over the years and thought they were a natural home for our distribution business,” Thulin said.
“Since establishing a presence in Oregon and Washington through the carve out of JF Shelton’s packaging distribution business, we have been focused on growing our presence in the region by identifying complementary businesses with durable growth trajectories. Aaron Packaging fits well within this thesis,” added Ken Roessler, Executive Chairman of Novvia.
Novvia was formed in the fall of 2021 through the combination of several regional packaging companies that include Inmark, C.L. Smith, Silver Spur and Container Supply, with financial backing by Kelso & Company.
