Safety distributor MES Life Safety acquired SeaWestern, another Washington-based supplier of firefighting and safety equipment.
In an news release, the company stated the acquisition expands MES’s presence and capabilities across the Western United States.
“SeaWestern has earned the trust of first responders across the Western United States for decades,” MES CEO Marvin Riley said. “This partnership combines SeaWestern’s exceptional customer focus and regional strength with MES’s national reach and resources. Together, we’ll deliver even greater service, product availability, and support to the men and women who risk their lives every day to protect others.”
SeaWestern President Steve Morris added: “MES shares our passion for serving first responders and ensuring they have the best equipment and service possible. We’re excited to join forces to continue delivering high-quality gear while maintaining our commitment to ‘Providing Quality Products with Service after the Sale’ for departments across the region.”
This is the fifth acquisition for Kirland, WA-based MES Life Safety in 2025. In November they acquired Northeast Rescue Systems (Northeast Rescue), a New England supplier, as well as Safety Inc., a fellow New England region distributor based in Peabody, MA, in late October.
