Fire and safety supplies and equipment distributor MES Life Safety, with branches throughout the U.S. and Canada, announced the acquisition of Safety Inc., a fellow New England region distributor based in Peabody, MA.

For more than 50 years, Safety Inc. has provided critical safety and instrumentation products to industrial, municipal and utility customers throughout the U.S. Northeast. Meanwhile, MES has served fire service, law enforcement and industrial safety markets since 2001 from its Sandy Hook, CT headquarters.

Safety Inc. is MES’ third acquisition of 2025, following Florida-based WC Fire & Safety in August and Illinois-based Illini Fire Equipment in May. MES added four companies in 2024.
