GALLS — a Lexington, KY-based distributor of uniforms and equipment for public safety officials — announced Jan. 5 and 6 that it has made a pair of acquisitions, one in New Jersey and one in South Carolina.

The deals net GALLS 10 combined retail locations.

In New Jersey, GALLS has acquired Action Uniform Co. — a regional distributor serving the public safety community for over 30 years from its Pleasantville, NJ headquarters and three other retail locations in the Garden State. GALLS already had two branches in New Jersey.

“Geography expansion across New Jersey with four more retail locations, combined with our GALLS Trenton and Newark branches, will make GALLS the number one provider in New Jersey,” CEO Mike Fadden said in a news release.

In South Carolina, GALLS has acquired DesignLab — a regional supplier of public safety uniforms and gear based in Greenville, SC. DesignLab has over 50 employees across six locations in South Carolina and Florida, serving the region as a custom uniform apparel manufacturer and distributor for more than 20 years.

“This move will consolidate GALLS’ market share, positioning it as the No. 1 provider in both South Carolina and Florida,” the company stated. 

Action and DesignLab are just the latest additions for GALLS, which announced five acquisitions during 2025, including one in September that marked the company’s entry into the Canadian market.
