Industrial supplies distributor Turner Supply has acquired Progressive Supply — a Woodstock, GA-based provider of MRO solutions.

Representing Turner Supply’s entry into the Atlanta and North Georgia markets, it also marks the 11th acquisition in the 121-year history of the Mobile, AL-based company.

According to a Feb. 1 news release, Progressive Supply will operate as Turner Supply, becoming the company’s ninth location. Turner noted that while it has served customers throughout North Georgia for many years, this will be the company’s first branch location in the Atlanta market.

Formed in 2008, Progressive Supply serves construction, manufacturing, welding, metal fabrication and utilities customers, aligning with Turner Supply’s existing core markets.

The Progressive Supply purchase marks the fifth transaction Turner has completed since 2019. This past September, Progressive Supply purchased selected assets of Benchmark Industrial Supply.
