Hey, MDM readers!
Visually-attuned members of our audience may have noticed something different on the MDM website as of Friday morning — we have a new logo, with that transition seen above.
Same tagline, and we kept the cube, but an unmistakable NAW infusion.
It’s a subtle change in the grand scheme of things, but an important one. Quite simply, it’s a symbol of MDM’s continued integration into the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW), which acquired MDM in January 2024.
This visual update is the culmination of two years of integration work as we align and unify our brands. While we announced the MDM + NAW combination to the masses repeatedly and continue to tout it to our vast network of industry contacts, it’s important for us to stress that we are one organization. A new logo is an easy way of doing that and ensure consistency across our platforms as we enter our next phase.
Combining with NAW has significantly expanded MDM’s resources for industry research, analysis and reporting, along with a much bigger pool of experts, distribution executives and service providers to tap into. We’ve found many ways to collaborate on various projects over these past two years, all while maintaining MDM’s editorial independence.
This is very much an evolution, not an endpoint. As we move ahead with this update, you’ll see our new logo gradually replace the old MDM logo across our website and various products and reports in the coming months, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on any other branding updates.
As always, thanks for being an MDM reader and helping us support the wholesale distribution industry.
