Southeast Building Supply Interests (SBSI) — a family of building materials distributors across the U.S. Southeast — announced that it has acquired Builders Supply Co.
SBSI said Builders Supply Owners Bubba Ingleburger and Carl Dixon will remain with the company as advisors.
SBSI first entered Tennessee in 2022 via an acquisition of Wallace Building Supply. The company now has 14 locations across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, with its previously most recent addition coming this past February in the form of Alpha Lumber & Supply in Montgomery, AL. The company’s other brands include Henson Building Materials, Buettner Bros. Lumber Company, Haywood Builders Supply, Mountain Building Supply, Wallace Building Supply.
SBSI is backed by private equity firm Building Industry Partners.
