Family-owned and operated MRO products distributor Kimball Midwest has named longtime company technology leader Liz Wallace as its new Chief Information Officer.
Wallace is marking her 20th anniversary with the Columbus, OH-based company this month. Kimball Midwest said she will lead the team in shaping the company’s overall technology vision; collaborate with department leaders to deliver solutions that help departments modernize and develop new business capabilities; and continue to drive the company’s agenda and success into the future.
“Liz’s dedication, passion and expertise have been instrumental in shaping our success in multiple departments,” Kimball Midwest President Patrick McCurdy said in a May 13 news release. “She has had a significant impact every step of the way, and we look forward to her continued success leading our IT team.”
After graduating from the University of Dayton, Wallace joined Kimball Midwest in 2006. In 2009, she moved to the IT team as Manager of Continuous Improvement and Software. She later was promoted to Associate Director of Continuous Improvement and IT Development before starting her most recent role, Director of Solution Delivery, in 2022. Wallace also holds IT Leadership and Advanced IT Leadership Certifications from the Innovative Leadership Institute.
